A quick question about the next step (After fruiting)

Hello everybody! After close to a year of researching on this board and about 8 weeks of hands on experience, I'm glad to finally be posting. Hopefully soon enough I'll make it to "Trusted cultivator" status! Me and a friend (Whose done virtually none of the work, but is useful for helping with the many hours of prep and such) have decided to finally start growing mushrooms. This board has been extremely helpful, and though my success has been limited, I feel rather accomplished with all I've learned. I bought my spores from sporeworks, and used pint sized ball jars (I know it wasn't a great idea) to colonize in. I started with 40 jars, of which 10 made it without contamination (Only about 5 or 10 actually became contaminated, but many stalled out and were tossed). Of those, several have shown great production and I'm quite pleased that I've fathered healthy babies. I'm on my 2nd flush (toward the end), and its getting about that time to start considering the next step. I'm producing several different jars of liquid cultures (In hopes at least one will not be contaminated), but I don't feel so confident with them.
A friend of mine, (Who is also a shroomery member and grower) suggested that I can also crumble my good cakes, mix with more sterilized and BRF enriched verm (In a plastic tupperware), and case. I looked around the board, but could not find information about this. Has anyone tried this/seen a post with information about it? Is this a good idea/the best thing to do with used cakes?
Thanks guys! I've got some great pics to post as soon as I get around to it. Hopefully soon I'll be answering your questions!
EDIT: My explict question/problem is this: Can I crumble cakes which have already fruited into Hpoo (or whatever)?

I believe you understand the process you will probably hear cakes are best as cakes or use a cheese grater and spawn to H-poo that one should come up alot look around and read lots you'll hear that too at the absolute most desperate wait some time and someone will eventually give you the answer you are seeking or a link to find it. Best of luck

What does that even mean? I'm saying when my cakes have eaten all the BRF, can I crumble them and add them to more nutriant rich verm (Or straw n poo)

If you're going to crumble and spawn your cakes, I'd suggest using hpoo instead of sterilized BRF. I crumbled up 3 half pint cakes about a week ago and spawned them to some pasteurized horse poop. The chunks were about as big as popped popcorn, or actually a little bigger. Anyway, the results have been great. The myc really is really tearing into it. I did about a 50/50 ration of cakes to poop. I'm very surprised how well they are doing and am actually really pleased. So in my personal experience, anyone who says cakes do better as cakes hasn't been doing something right.

No nuts in verm.... very very little if any, There is in coco-coir thoe... verm is great for water retention (shrooms are 90% water) and coir is a good ballanced ph nute.
