Convert my room into a studio?

A little bit of background - Me and my co producer / DJ moved into an apartment in May so we could work together easier than one of us constantly going over to the other guys place.
Its a nice two bedroom place, with a huge living room which is where we set up the studio. Unfortunately the apartment walls are fucking THIN and so is the door, so sound really travels and the neighbors are always complaining about noise. I am usually really good about it and don't make noise after 11 but they bang constantly on the wall and the door.
So I was thinking of moving the studio into my bedroom and making it bedroom / studio. Help me decide if this is a good idea or not:
- PROS - Can make sound anytime, since I can pad the bedroom
- CONS - I lose privacy in my room, frankly I don't care if people see me naked etc but privacy is still nice. - My co producer / dj would be in my room all the time.
What would you guys do?

I dont think moving it to your bedroom would make enough of a difference to justify it. You can pad it as much as you like but the walls are still going to be thin and people are still gonna hear you. This is why working on music in apartments sucks ass, im very familiar w the problem

Well the cons are kind of both related to the same thing (no privacy).

It will make enough difference, because I have tripped with loud music in the room before and its not noticeable outside the room and apt. The room is quite compact and makes the sound bounce off the walls which makes it seem more intense.
And yeah apartments do suck ass. My last one was awesome, I could blast music anytime and no one could hear it cause the walls were cement. This one is not so awesome.

There is the "I want to kill this guy thread" about the neighbor playing COD and screaming and yelling, which is annoying.
So I honestly have to ask a serious, non-trolling question:
If you live in an apartment, and know that you share walls with multiple people, why on earth are you planning on putting a music studio in it?

Because: - A) Its my apartment, I am allowed to have music. They are in a separate apartment - B) I am not giving up my potential career - C) I do not have it too loud, I make sure there is no sound after 11 which is when the law states it has to be down lower
The thread was about a guy in the same house vs. another apartment. Mine is a separate legal unit. There is a huge difference
