Those are really cool. They look like Psilocybe subsecotioides nom. prov. but as far as I know that species only occurs in NZ. It's probably more likely they are mutated subs though.

I found a heap like this last year. Really thick meaty stems and high wavy tops. As far as I can tell they're awesome
Can't wait to go out tomorrow. Was gonna today but feeling a bit under the weather. But conditions are good even if the thread seemed to get quiet last week. Hopefully I'll find some nicely juveniles?

Nice find man. They really do look a lot like subsecotioides that I see in the N.Z. thread.

Yeah I normally base it off my backyard babies and they are just opening up now, pins poked through about 2 days ago, still about 2-3 days off mature enough to pick for them, should be good finds out and about though.

Pictures from a couple hunts over the last couple of days. wasn't 100% on some of them but they all bruised blue and all the spore prints i've taken look pretty good.

They're all Psilocybe subaeruginosa from what I can see some of those fellas are tiny though let them mature and open up next time. All of those last pics show mushrooms that should have been left for a few days.

Yeah the smaller ones were from a patch growing right in the main st of a town I live near. I noticed them as pins then left them for a week and a half. I then decided to pick some even though they wern't fully developed but left like 80% I went back two days later and some asshole had stripped the patch of everything I left. :
