I have an airpump and geolite. I wonder whether its possible to make a poormans pod that would be a FC for only ONE pf cake. I want to make it for getting prints then i ll switch to grains. What size should be the container? Which settings for air pump should i choose? Please help!

none.
sell the air pump and the geolite and get some perlite and build a proper shotgun fruiting chamber.

For one cake?
Use a 2 litter bottle. Cut it in half. Put some wet perlite or a wet paper towel in the bottle and poke little holes in the bottle too. Mist daily. No need for air pumping, but if you really want to, no bubble wand, put some geolite in the bottom of the 2 liter an stick the hose from any pump set on the lowest setting into the water.

DO IT!
heres some helpfuls for PMP make sure theres rods (of non organic nature) run thru the inside thru the walls just slightly above the geolite. these will be the foundation for the permeable surface, you place down to set your cakes on.
only fill water to about an inch below geolite surface line
use 1-2 bubble wands (the little 8" blue ones at walmart should do the trick, unless you already have wands or bubble stones) (and if this is the case, then buy containers for FC according to size of bubble wands)
i would use the same 6qt sweater boxes, that ppl like to use in their greenhouses. use two bottoms(flip one upside down(like a "dub tub")to make one container. or one of those fancy file boxes. the ones ppl like to make mini monos with ( perfect size!)
make a few import and exhaust holes. around the sides, and in the lid, and fill with poly or cover with micropore tape.
youre still going to have to fan. doubt youll need to mist
heres a picture to hopefully help you in deciding a design: sitting on the grate, only inches above the geolite. grate is resting on the dowels ive inserted thru the tub.
notice you can see the supports, the grate, and the substrate placed on the grate.
here is a PMP stuffed with a monotub cake
so dont be afraid to fill the thing up
and heres a picture of what happens if your permeable surface for setting your substrate on, is TOO permeable!:
see the geolite at the bottom. notice the spacing, etc

as you can see, its quite a bit wetter in a PMP than in a shotgun FC
so be extra mindful of fanning and misting
start with extra import export holes, and cover as needed to get your humidity and fae up/down to where it needs to be

I need a FC that would not requiere any maintence, pmp seemed perfect however i have doubts when using it on such a small scale. Im a student I cant mist it 5 times a day!

a shotgun is almost more self sustainable than a pmp, almost less maintainence
theyre a lot of work getting them calibrated correctly
but then again, i kinda always like leaving substrates in my pmp, dissapearing for a few days, and coming back to SWEET harvests
kinda impressive also what the mushrooms can do when left alone
