Why are you opening tubs that have yet to finish colonizing? I don't see the point other than for your photo documentation. You're potentially inviting contamination. Otherwise, nice work.

what i have been doing is...folding my liner over the sub loosely...after 3-4 days i check for pooling water/excessive...air the whole tub ....close....at 7-8 days cut liner/roll tuck....tight poly for 1-2 more days....then pull out one hole for 1-2 and loose poly for fruits......it has been working ok....no more green...i will be consolidating my tubs more to see if better pinsets are in my future....

I went the other direction for while, increased ge during colonization and introduced fae earlier. It was after reading the bag versus no bag debate over ge during colonization.
When I went back to lower ge and later fae, I got better pinsets. This is very consistent with Ryath's excellent writeup on pinning and fruiting.
I'm not going back to cooping it up in a bag by any means, but I think I'll be sticking to the very tight polyfill and later birthing of the tubs.
Something else that caught my eye recently was someone saying that they mist heavily and then pull the fill out for half an hour afterward, several times a day with impressive looking results. Was that you Cyanara maybe? I forget.

Along these same lines, how much fae do you think is optimal for the beginning of the 2nd flush, right after the dunk?
