According to Becker (and I'm fairly convinced) no human totally gets past some conscious or unconscious death anxiety.

Sai Baba recently died.  When he got sick he went to a modern medical facility for treatment even though he claimed to be able to heal the sick with his mystical magical spiritual powers.  If that's not death anxiety I don't know what is.

Yeah. I'm at least much better about it these days. Death is what we are, why fight the nature of things and make yourself miserable?

I am not done here, that is the only reason I avoid death.

When given the option to stay in the void of a mushroom trip the main reason I didn't want to stay was the thought of my dog and family needing me.

It's an illusion that anyone needs you. That's death anxiety. We use outside things as excuses so we can convince ourselves we aren't secretly terrified. :satansmoking:

It's all there in Becker's work.

It is true that people don't need me, but that is probably caused a separate issue.

Ain't no thing wrong with death anxiety unless its making you unhappy. However, worrying about whether or not you have death anxiety or how much of it you have is no worse than full blown death anxiety imo. I accept I have death anxiety and that it is pretty cool imo. It gives me that urge to want to live an enjoyable life.

We are all waves on the ocean of the universe of oneness. Once we realize we are waves on an ocean that cannot be destroyed we have nothing to fear.

He was not destroyed, his body merely decomposed and now contributes to benefit other lifeforms.
None of us know for sure what the truth is or have a complete understanding. Anyone who claims to understand anything or everything with %100 certainty is obviously ARROGANT.
I merely choose to believe in what makes me happiest and can benefit humanity:shrug:
Everybody is in the dark, so it makes sense to believe in what makes you happiest and can benefit humanity:laugh:

Maybe by def he was destroyed. But his matter still helps to foster other life on this planet. Ever seen the lion king? CIRCLE of LIFE.
Our perception is just nueral impulses in the brain, I am just living organic matter, a manifestation of the universe, and I am ok with that. Because I know life will go on and there will be happiness somewhere in some galaxy.:pipesmoke:
I'm interested to see if you have something positive to say:hug:

If you don't have a problem with the destruction of human lives then what makes what i have said negative?

Touche. I guess the word destruction has a negative connotation in my mind. But your right, I don't (consciously) view death as a negative thing. Instinctively I think I do because its a psychological trait passed down to help our species survive.:crazy2:

I realize it's all one. But the fact remains we feel separate and have fear of death.  We can tell ourselves all we want that nothing is destroyed in death but the personality is destroyed in death and it is the personality that fears dissolution.  Evidence abounds.

and can benefit humanity

As you said no one can be sure.  Everyone has different ideas on what may benefit humanity. No way to know for sure who is right.

"But the fact remains we feel separate and have fear of death."

I still don't know what we are fearing if we are fearing death. To fear death is to assume one knows something about it.
