Living In The Past
    #14508702 - 05/25/11 07:35 AM (12 years, 9 months ago)

There is a reason Ian Anderson hated this song.  However even he can put a new twist on the song as shown here.  Latin beat!

And since Ian over 60 now he is clearly living in the past.

Not sure what I was going to say other than is living in the past "good"?  Does it make you "happy"?  (Good and happy being the operative words of those with only positive memories).  Or does it fucking piss you off?

And please folks this isn't about our past although it could be.

That's cause it's one of his most commercial and dumb songs.

How does being over 60 make one live in the past?

He was playing old songs long before he hit 60.  I do  wish these guys would quit though. I like to keep my memories of these guys in good shape.

Actually I prefer the way they ended.  Jim Jimmy and Janis will always look great, be in their youth and at or near the top of their game.

My sister says that Janis had the best female blues voice of all time and I don't disagree.
