It really is. I quit a couple years ago but am scared to go back to it. It takes up to much time when I do it. I was up to polishing off 400 page novels in a night keeping me up to late and it affected my job performance. I almost got sucked back in with a star wars book as my brother just finished one and that is my junk right there, any good scifi novel as movies/shows mostly suck.

I was so addicted once I was reading my moms thriller books! fuck I was a wreck.

I got an e-reader at Christmas last year and that has been really dangerous for me -- you can download hundreds of books at a time and it'll store unlimited bookmarks for you. Reading is one of the most hardcore addictions there is, if you're really hooked you'll keep at it until your eyesight goes :crazy2:

I was addited to 'To Kill a Mocking Bird' and 'Water for Elephants'.

I recently tried to read ' The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo' but I couldnt get into it.

Now I am reading the NSCA's 'The Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning'. Its pretty intense reading.

I think reading can be addictive if you have the right book.

I got On The Road  several months ago and have read the fucking thing 8 times.

For whoever said Game of Thrones, those books are fucking impossible to put down.

Reading is definitely more addictive than marijuana.
