You're looking good to me. Follow through with the print just to make sure...never hurts; always helps. Nice one!

Thanks for believing in me
It took me 3 or 4 years before I found any actives (liberty caps), but when I found them, I immediately knew what they were and was delighted. If you're like me you'll be wanting to know about more than just actives too.

Sweet man your dedication has really paid off! The good vibs I sent you yesterday must have worked! Did you get a super good look at the habitat? I wish you much luck man.

HigherConsciousness,
Congratulations from one very envious.
Hope you don’t mind a couple questions from a fellow seeker:
What part of what state are you in? How long ago did the floodwater subside (the flood that created the pile of sticks)?
thanks

I was in your shoes yesterday lol.. i live near columbia Virginia. its been about 4-5 days since it rained for a week. look for woods with sycamore trees near a river in piles of sticks or next to trees, in weeds too. sycamore trees are the ones with the helicopter seeds if you know what im talking about. You can go pretty far from the bank. i found mine under 30 yards from the river. good luck bro
Thanks for the habitat info. Actually the helicopter seeds come from Maples, but no matter. What I find to be amazing is the ability of the Ovoids to fruit after only 5 days of being out of the water, or “medium creation”.

Ahh, very good: more habitat info. I’m feeling better now, since it’s been very cool so far this season and flood waters are still up. So I think if anything is around here, it is yet to come.

You are just being wise. Don't worry; they will keep. Just dry them and store them, and go back and find more. Besides getting better chances of spore prints, nothing is more confirming than picking large numbers of carpophores of a species.
