i went for a small walk today to grab a few oysters for breakfast and was very surprised at my patch.

This was on my way there

they are everywhere here.


there are plenty of babies on their way


Oh here is on of my favorite logs also


Anyone want to pick some oysters in the Vancouver wa area let me know.

Nice!

I found oysters a few times when I lived in the Seattle area, but usually just enough to bring home for dinner.  Isn't there a way to preserve those?  Man, I'd have a hard time leaving those behind.

I didnt leave them behind really. It really only takes a couple minutes to walk there from my house. I will go get some more tomorrow anddehydrate them for later. I've never tried that with oysters but hear it works good.

Nice... Been collecting them for about 3'weeks now here in Seattle area... Have a couple of oyster beds... But that tree of yours is incredible

Collected on Sunday... Nice big ones....

they are perfect IMO.  actually timing it this perfectly, unless you can check daily ,you deserve to harvest perfect specimens.  but obviously leave the real little ones. :shrug:

you reminded me i have to strap on my hip waders and hit my creek this weekend .:smile: sweet finds dude.
