I live in Chickasha, (Grady County) Oklahoma. I am familiar with what species of actives grow in oklahoma...The only one i have found and identified is psilocybe coprophila...I know that they are weak or inactive...but my main search is for p. cubensis, pan. subbs..........I really want to know the best time of day to look, the best growing environment...whether it be in grass, feces, rotting wood, etc...what is the best way to find them...I get out every morning and i know what i am looking for, but i am just at a loss on where to look...can anyone give me some good shroom hunting advice...

If you know their names how can you not know where they grow?
Cubes like cow poo, rain and grass
Subbs like grass more than poo, but still like rain (can be found in well fertilized yards or in fields)

i think Oklahoma might be in a bit of a mushroom 'dead zone' in a bunch of ways, just from what i know of the climate, but good luck!
