End the war on drugs! sign now

Politicians fear that their people will throw them out of office if they appear 'soft on drugs.' But polls show that, increasingly, citizens across the world know the current approach is not working. If we can muster a worldwide outcry to support the bold calls of the Global Commission on Drug Policy, we can send shockwaves of change through the UN and governments around the world and wipe away the stale excuses for the status quo. Sign the petition and spread the word and make you voice heard! sign the petition now!

To be fair, 100's of thousands of signatures couldn't even get a straight answer out of Obama on legalizing mj.
Any effort to end prohibition is good though.

Yeah that was a shame, he shrugged it right off. Back when they were doing the polling it came close to being the top voted, if not the actual top voted.

Sign it regardless of any political apathy you might have.
Sign it regardless of your cynicism toward a topic that won't even receive logical debate attention from the popular media anymore.
Sign it regardless.
Why?
Because, when you stop fighting for something you believe in... when you give in to any propaganda... then you have lost. But before then, you still might win.

72 hours to End the War on Drugs In 72 hours, we could finally see the beginning of the end of the ‘war on drugs’. More signatures are needed, if you haven't got round to it yet now is the time. Need everybodys support. Thanks.

There are still some drugs that would need to keep illegal, the ones that can seriously harm someone.

No. Well, maybe PCP, because it makes you hurt other people... But people should be able to harm themselves if they wish. It's their bodies, it's their choices. America's supposed to be a FREE country. Making our own decisions is part of "free."

PCP doesn't make you hurt other people. It is negative stimuli during a PCP trip that makes accidents happen. People hurt others on other psychedelics a well, PCP just has some particularly gruesome stories. All drugs should be legal and unregulated. It would solve the problems with the justice system, the economy, and overpopulation. Everyone wins except for drug cops and the people who would kill themselves anyway with drugs.

Yeah, it doesn't "make you". But I've heard of men going berserk on PCP and taking out multiple people before getting gunned down. Never heard of someone almost murdering someone due to LSD or Mushrooms.
