Streching Spawn Bags

Afoaf has a problem with spawn bags streching when pc'd. They get very thing and brittle feeling, afraid they may develop tiny holes allowing contams in. Anyone else experience this problem? Does this indicate that the bags were over/under filled? Problems with contams?

What swim does to stop 'em stretching is he seals them and then dumps them in the end of a pair of tights and ties leg up in a knott- tight to stop 'em expanding or bursting. This also helps stop the bags melting if they touch the sides.

They arn't sealed, tied off with cotton twine.

If you just fold them over once and put a clothespin on there they shouldn't expand and stretch because the air will be able to escape.
