Hey all, new here and new to shrooms in general. But i believe I have found and partially identified both Panaeolus Cinctulus and Pluteus Salicinus on my property. I will attach pics of both as to help with the identification.
Note: I do not plan on eating these I just want to know what I have growing here. My friend swim however is considering it and wants to know the danger involved.
Suspected Pan. Cinc. info:
-The spore prints are very black/almost purple at first glance -The stem is very thin and long anywhere from 4-7 cm for caps that are 1-3 cm in diameter -Found in piles of grain fed horse dung in a pasture after rain -I am located in central Indiana (date is may 23) -I was afraid to handle them enough to inspect the gills closely or to obtain a scent -found both individually and in small groups
Suspected Plu. Sali. info:
-Spore prints are very flesh colored almost pink in hue -The stems are hollow and very fibrous. -gills are white -found on the edge of woodlands near rotting wood/hay -found in groups and individually -smelled very vegetable-like -found on the edge of a wood near rotting wood -again in central indiana (may 23)
Thank you for the help with the identification, and any other info that is needed i would be happy to supply.First pics are the pan.
The large pics are after soaking them in water so they are floppy.

Try the mushroom hunting forum for more responses. I will say the bottom set of pics look like Psathyrella.

The new larger pics look like Stropharia semiglobata - purple spore print is also indicative of that species.
