1st off i would like to say hi as i am new to this site. second this my question one of my boys hit me up saying he got shrooms at "wholesale" aka "dealer" prices & oz after oz worth. so i was looking on this site and the most i seen them go for from some one on this site said a oz for $200us of fire fire fire. but my boy is letting it go for $250 an oz of "mexican poppers" sclerotia-forming species aka philosopher's stone (i think). do you think thats to much of a price per oz? he also said if u get a lot of oz's(2 or more) he will mark the price down. also i am in miami florida if that makes a difference or not. please let me know thanks

At that price you're pretty much paying retail.

Fucking rip off big time. Grow them yourself. The stones are as easy as innoculating a jar and waiting. That is literally it. But something is only worth what someone will pay for it, so if you're willing to pay it..
Hell man you could even order them from sites in Europe for waaay less and have a good chance of them making it through customs.
Just ideas because that is waaay too much for fuckin truffles.

If you're in Florida, look into some cow fields and go find some Cubensis. Very noticeable and obvious mushroom for even a newb. And you save 250!

yeah, those aren't dealer prices, those are BULLSHIT prices...
I suppose sclerotia are a bit of a rarity in FLA, but as far as I remember they are like half as potent as cubes... NOT a good deal.
I always felt like anything over $150 and ounce RETAIL price was fucking scandalous! Especially in Florida where cubes grow by the pounds in nearly every cow field in the state...
tell your friend the Shroomery says he got ripped off.

He's lying. Mushrooms can't be hydro. He may mean grown in a home, but not hydro.

doesn't fucking matter if they were cultivated indoors... unless they were some ridiculously potent species (maybe azures or something) then anything more than $150 (in FLA) is a fucking rip off...

Shrooms don't only grow in cow shit. You can't hydroponically grow mushrooms. A good price for an oz of cubies is wayyyyyy less than $100. Anyway, it sounds like he's trying to rip you off massively.
FYI: Sclerotia is roughly 70% water by weight while mushrooms are around 90% water. Dry sclerotia is 2/3 as potent as dry cubensis fruits, while fresh sclerotia is twice as potent as fresh cubensis.
