Putting (Docs Hybrid)Mono tub into Fruiting... Large Mushroom found

Today I saw several small mushrooms growing already in my Mono so I decided to let it get open for fruiting, I didnt realize it at the time but I had let the tub hang over a shelf edge and it received some light on the bottom, one huge mushroom had grown on the bottom.
I managed to get it fully from underneath, my tubs sub cracked a little bit apart... I think it should be alright? anyone have any ideas on if I can "repair" this, or if it will just go through its normal cycle fine.
The mushroom itself weighed 56.5g! the coir looked a little dry so I misted it... is that ok too?
also the mushroom looked smushed, not bad, just smushed up, it should be ok to eat right?
thanks for all your help in advance.

It's alright that your sub broke, it won't affect fruiting, just try and keep the handling to a minimum. The coir shouldn't be dry, in fact, you shouldn't be able to see the coir anymore if your substrate was fully colonized. Using the mono/shotgun hybrid can sometimes dry a substrate faster than a regular monotub(local conditions also affect). So if that is the case, then you need to mist your tub accordingly. And yes, the mushroom is fine to eat.

Next time, flip it out onto a lid like flipping a cake out of a pan. Harvest, eat, replace, dunk.
