Yes. Also uploaded images that Google finds that are yours. And Google will find them. And public surveillance videos. And traffic cameras. Etc, etc, etc. Google is vast.

I'm not bitching. I'm just adding my own special blend of troll spices to the conversation. I'm just sayin', if I were a cop and I wanted to catch some fugitive for say mushroom cultivating, I know thats far fetched but bear with me, I don't think it would that hard to run that code on every computer that googled or visited such a site. I'm not saying that will happen I'm just sayin it could and it wouldnt be hard.
I'm not worried about it. I'm almost always a fugitive anyway. Hell, I have warrants now from another state. Good luck catching me, though. I leave one hell of a scattered paper trail. It's good to have friends all over the country.

Yes.
Even though it's illegal, and even though any illegally obtained evidence won't hold up in court?

So what are they going to do with all this stuff? What proof do you have, and why should I be concerned?

I don't see how your living off the government discredits any of this as nonsensical tinfoil-hattery. So, you have marijuana and you're leeching off the system, good for you.
Sounds to me like you simply have no desire to learn about any of this because you're blazed and pretty comfortable.

It doesn't, and I never implied it did..all it does is help me not be an irrational moron when it comes to matters regarding the government.

I have no desire to learn from the perspective of a paranoid fearmonger.

They are going to correlate it. Proof is in the ads that come with GMail, and a lot of other creepy things. Concern is optional.

Yep, as I said earlier, they're practically an intelligence agency in themselves, more so than anything else.

I was doing some research on facial recognition last year.
There really isn't a whole lot to be concerned about right now. You can get facial recognition to work pretty damn well under certain constraints, but those constraints are pretty limiting. It's not really useful on a wide-scale basis.
Also, take into account that even in places like the UK where cameras are ever-damn-where, the quality of captured images together with inconsistencies in environmental conditions, appearance, and the sheer amount of data involved in attempted to classify among an entire population make it a pretty minimal treat. There's only so many features to use to distinguish amongst individuals, only so many of those are reliably static for people, and there are too many similarities and correlations for it to work well.
Conversely, it would be much, much easier to be able to track movements of anyone in such a largely camera-laden area, although they may not be able to tell who you are. If you wanted to fear something, I'd be a lot more concerned about that for now.

True, but it's a simple matter of money. Put enough processors on the job and you can do it.

That's not really true actually. The reason why is basically the same as why you can't just keep compressing a file over and over again and have it get smaller and smaller; there is only so much actual information there, and the rest is entropy, which can safely be ignored.
Given a constant set of images or image streams, if there is insufficient information between them to be able to reasonably classify among the population with a decent success rate, then that won't change no matter how much processing power you throw at the problem.
In fact, too much data processing leads to over-fitting, which will actually lessen the effectiveness of the system.

Because you think everything is fine and nothing will come of these "small injustices".
And again I am not fear mongering what so ever. If you are scared then thats on you. I just want people to be AWARE.
