Cordyceps?
    #14493474 - 05/22/11 10:58 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I was out working by the mailbox today and stumbled across these. There were about 8 or so of them.

Habitat= mulch on top of old limestone gravel.
Location= central/midwest USA

Are they Cordyceps?

Thanks!

usually cordyceps are attached to a dead bug of some sort or an old truffle. i have no experience with them personally tho.
