Yuppers TimmiT is thinking Stropharia subgenus Stercophila and it seems very close. I am hoping to go get a sample to print this weekend.

Yeah it's painful tbh. I went out today and found another sample and he was right about it growing on dung too. It's almost uncanny.

I'm flattered... but I don't think it's true. I'm just a novice. There is such a vast amount I still have to learn.

Hey guys. I've really taken a passion to photographing mushrooms this year, there's so much mystery and diversity to every bit of fungus and I can see myself taking this up as a hobby. Although I need to acquire a decent camera first as most low light macro shots don't go down too well on my little canon
Anyway here are some of the shots I've taken so far this year, not too bad for my circumstances imo

Possibly a Hohenbuehelia species. Here's one I found a few days ago (but a different species)

What cool little mushrooms. I don't think I've seen anything quite like those on my hunts.

A different dung loving Stropharia or perhaps something like Deconica coprophila?
This one was no where near as tall as the other, and lacked the glutinous stipe, it was in what appeared to be horse dung. It was also kind enough to print itself for me.

They're a Deconica but I don't think they're P. coprophila. Maybe something along the lines of D. merdaria

I might have thought they were slugs and let them alone!
