Very VERY nice MJ. Tell me what kinda parameters do you look for in a spring producing lawn. I have never seen any spring psilocybes fruiting. Do you think the lawns snohomish county would be fair game or do you think its mainly due to certain fertlizers people may use? Or do they come in on the grass sod?? If you believe they come in on grass SOD then wouldnt pasturelands be fair game for spring stunzii as well?? Thanks.

Hi Cardboard,

New lawns at condos and apts with a sprinkler system and perpetual lawn service who come weekly mow abnd fertilize on a regular basis. Usually spores come inb the fresh sod or come later with liqwuid feritlizers.

I am thinking the exploding clone style housing complexes and new mini mall commerce units down in snohomish county would be an excellent place to look. Hopefully this weekend i will go for a drive down south. Thanks for your info MJ.

Remembr one th9ing when hunting. Some places I find them at have none for a while and so you might have to keep looking in a specific area or place over and over to see if they come up later.

ALso, I have a large lawn for four years and Across the street are beautiful lawns. Well I looked on those lawns for three years and never found any and one day I crossed the street to the other side which also had lawns along the side walk and there they were. massive fruitings. Then i would pick and then walk into other nice lawns where they never were. ANd after doing this for four years on the good lawn and then walking on the other non porducing lawns I observed that nothing grew where I walked into other lawns. Thus that the spores nblow across the street according to paul does not alwys work. In facft very rarely ever that way.

I have been in pastures which have connectiong pasttures. They move carttle around to graze. Some years several would have and other s did not. Then vice-versa.

So it pays to familiarize ones locales by multiple trips to them in a years time to learn if they are there or not.
