To shake again?

Grain jar is going well as you can see from pics below My question is is it ok shake them again or not? The first time i shook the jar there were only 1 or 2 little specks of myc but now its around 30-40 percent would it be ok to shake or should i just leave it? I would like to speed up the process but i am also completely happy to wait what do you guys think
cheers

Just repeating what I (remember) reading around here but you're supposed to wait until they're 70% colonized to shake? Probably incorrect.

Yeah, the only reason i wanted to shake is to speed up growth. There going pretty slow but i guess its cus i used ms inoc and its gets real cold at night.
thanks for the suggestions

youre right, thats two of the main reasons.
btw, ive heard that day/night temperature fluctuations may be beneficial, because thats what happens in nature; but i dont know how much that matters with all of those domesticated cubensis varieties.
but thats another story...
looks like nearly every of your grains have myc growing, so further shaking has no real advantage.
looking forward to updates on your project. good luck.

I'm a noob so I'm not sure but IF the jars you showed had an uneven growth pattern (myc clumped unevenly) then shaking is beneficial otherwise let it be. Yours looked great! so let it be.

I will make a thread with all the steps along the way you can follow .Another quick question , judging from the photos what percentage do you think the jar is colonized at?

Just looking at your jar I want to shake it, but simultaneously want to just let it sit. Therefore, I would say around 50% colonized. Good job anyhow dude

I only shake if there is a large uncolonized spot at that stage.

It looks like it has a few days if you shake it takes 4 days to fully recover most of the time...
