Identifying dried mushrooms?

So my friend came across these shrooms recently he says they are an African strain but I don't really buy that myself. Anyways, they are extremely potent, i've barely tripped off of 8ths before that had my friends tripping balls, these I trip harder than I ever have and I only took 1 gram. I know dried shrooms are harder to identify, but seeing as already know they are edible and active I'm not too worried on an exact identification, but it would be nice to know.
Gills: some seem a little bit wavy, they are full and attached. Grey and brown in color.
Stem: Hollow stem, some blue staining on parts but mostly a ghostly white with gold speckled. Some are long and thin, while others are fat and stubbly.
Cap: Light brown, maybe even white around the circumference, turning to brown/gold. generally getting richer in color towards the top, some caps seem to have a small nipple. most of the caps resemble a thimble in shape while a few appear to be more spread out like a portobello would be.

Thats what I originally thought but arn't cubensis typically more wavy caps? some of the caps do look like they were mildly wavy before drying. I definitely don't buy the whole "african" thing but thought I'd throw out what I knew and/or had been told. No complaints but really don't get why he's going around saying that.

cubes can be that potent? I know potency varies alot even among the same batch but seriously myself and several other people who have tripped several times tripped off of .7 grams and a few of us 1. seriously intense.
