alright I'll look into making a tea, the male got cut down today ):

hopefully the other is female or I'm shit outta luck. thanks dudes.

have a careful look next time your with your plants, and try to sex it. Look for little hairs on the Y in the stem.

I moved one small plant out 3 days ago, i check it today and some fucking animal has eaten the whole thing, and only left the stem sticking from the ground! :grrr:

hell yeah, that's exactly what the one I have left looks like (the female ex.)

also don't think tea, butter, or any sort of extract would be worth while, being that its a male that just entered flowering. it is however some curing practice which will be helpful.

So only one left, def starting to pre-flower so more mulch and a small dose of FF open sesame w/ the last watering. Also it got trimmed of two of the smaller colas that were late runts after topping it, hopefully the info was correct and it'll put all the plants resources on the two main colas.

they've left it alone so far, I know there's a few snakes living nearby so I think that helps.

also someone mentioned to me that since I used a slow release fert that is still in the soil the added nitrogen would mess w my flowering. It's the osmicote 4 month pellets, and I only added a handful in the top inch of soil and in the mulch, is it worth it to just pick out as many as I can? is there a better way to get them out? I've got a container of good soil and more mulch, would it be best to just remove the top layer and put a new one down?

If the fertilizer is going to mess with flowering, I'd pick it out or scrape away as much of it as you can and add that good soil on top of it like you mentioned.

The fertilizer is gonna be in the soil below as well, so maybe flood it for a little bit to was it away from the roots. Not sure if it's possible but that's how they do it with potted plants.  Good luck!

Alright so the top 2" of soil and mulch was removed, pretty sure alot of the fert was removed cause it was only mixed in the mulch. New layer of soil and new mulch, watered heavy w no ferts.

Looking good man! Maybe another heavy wetting or two to be sure you've washed the soil well. Can't wait to see her budded up!

nice job airclay, hopefully theres super much sun when it goes to bloom

there s a chance u can tell its male or female before sexing, usually tha absurd long stems are male, because the have to spread the seed

Hmmm, well that could mean I've got at least a couple males....but almost all my plants were stretching a bit because they sat in the shade early on. Now they get mostly sun with part shade, depends on the time of day.

Trust me,I have had very bushy males, that I swore were females, and very tall, lanky ones,I thought were male, that turned out female.Usually,if you grow a non mixed batch that can be a decent indicator, but in mixed strain grows, that doesn't work at all.My buddy has a mixed batch of plants, and he has a few tall lanky ones, bigger than all the others, that we were sure were male, well they are covered in female pistils now,and to think,he was going to pull them early.you just gotta fully wait until they flower to be 100 percent sure:thumbup:

They could have been mixed seed, I think two different types of bag seed that I had collected. One I know for sure is "Purple Trainwreck", but thats just a name, its purple of some sort.

99 out of a 100 times, digging out a MJ plant will cause it to die. Youre better of taking cuttings.
If you choose to dig, make sure you have a growbox where you can set humidity between 60 and 90 percent
