found growing from pine stump.
sorry for the crap photo my cameras out of batteries, when they charge a bit I'll get a better photo. I'm thinking dilepis but hoping for purpuratus.

i'll try give a good description in the meantime
Cap - 3.5-10cm diameter, covered with redy-purply fibrillose warts but mostly purple
Stem - to 4cm long, 1-2cm thick, getting thicker towards the base, creamy-yellow? type colour with shades of purple
Gills - undulating margin, crowded, adnexed, creamy yellow
Smell - mild
Bruising - none

You want to get some habitat shots with different angles of the gills, cap and stem, so they can be clearly seen.

I see the inrolling on the margin of the lager one. I still think it may be Gymnopilus Luteofolius. Does the edge of the cap roll in? spore color?

Then why did you only get one photo on the newspaper? 
We need to be able to have a clear mental image of the mushroom in our heads, that we can rotate.

battery was running out as I was taking it. you know how when youre cam is nearly out of battery it keeps turning off but you can turn it on again and get a few more seconds out of it? thats what happened, I'll get better shots soon

I higly doubt it's G. luteofolius because it lacks the veil remnants, stipe is wrong colour, gills are wrong colour and too tightly packed. Stll might be a Gymnopilus sp., but both appearance and habitat fit perfectly for Tricholomopsis.
