Thanks again!

This was the only one. It was the closest I could zoom too. Sometimes my macro isn't "macro" enough if you know what I mean.

Yea, I think they're one of the tallest Mycena in the world. They were easily 200mm+.

BlueLightRain said: Yeah and as koraks mentioned....can you describe your use of artificial lighting in these daytime photographs? Is the bulb attached to the camera? Separate? How powerful...please I'm all ears!
Most of these photos were taken with natural light and reflectors. I use a tripod now so I am able to take long exposures. As Koraks mentioned, I experimented with a diffuser (which was basically a white sheet of paper held at a distance from my popup flash). I haven't been using this technique too much lately because I have switched to 100 ISO (to minimise grain). With low sensitivity the built-in flash is no longer powerful enough to properly light up a scene but I believe most external flashes would be perfect for this.

I always assumed that you must have a professional camera worth thousands, but according to google you can get it all for less than $1000! Just goes to show that it's who's behind the camera that really counts.
Where can I find an archive of all your pics? Your gallery is empty for some reason
