Habitat:
growing on side trail in woods. Not sure what substrate, could be wood. Found at base of tree...

Gills:
did not pick 'em. They called to me and I looked at them...very weird.

Stem:
see pictures
Cap:

Spore print color:
haven't picked..hoping more would grow if left untouched...

Bruising:
didn't pinch...


I like the look of the little one...

those gills look orange to me. a good gill shot would help.

i am not too sure , maybe an Inocybe ?

Tricholomas have white spores but not necessarily white gills. A spore print would be more beneficial, I think.

I think I've seen pictures of that first one you mentioned before, actually. When I read it something clicked in my mind. Never would've thought of it, though. :thumbup:

thanks to everyone. Psathyrella delineata is almost the same as the rugocephala and after perusing more photos mine looks more like a delineata. No matter- in the trash it goes...Although some references say it is edible (caps only) and not psychoactive.
