Ive shed tears, silently about a month back. Last time I actually cried... When I woke up in cells with a diabolical hangover, no memory of the past night and then the officer who arrested me tells me Im going against 23 charges, That was two years ago.

Last year when my bird died that I had since I was 3. That little dude was awesome. He'd say hey what's up whenever I walked in the house and laugh when he heard me laugh, and scream and stomp around when he was whistling and messed up a tune.

I cry when I need to and make no apologies about it.
Sometimes it can seem emberassing.
sometimes I don't want to cry.
Sometimes I do and don't know why...
But I'm always better after I do.
Crying to me is cathartic much of the time.
as I grow older I know the difference between the tears
some are heavy and bitter
some burn in their intensity
some just flow easily and are cleansing
Crying isn't something that I'm ashamed of in my 40's
crying is a gift to me

I tend to not cry if I can avoid it. For me, it's like adding gasoline to the fire (it makes the situation exponentially worse). However I have a lot of empathy for other creatures. I was riding my bike a few weeks ago one night and came across a toad which was hit by a car. It looked like it died the most horribly painful death. It nearly brought tears to my eyes, or actually it did. :crying: I've cried tears of pure bliss from psychedelic trips numerous times. It's funny how much I've changed since being a kid. I was never like this when I was younger. I attribute it to psychedelics.

This kind of thinking can be good for you. You just have to know when it's not.
Empathy is a gift that not everyone gets.
don't just see it as a curse or something just because it isn't convenient.
You may well have a gift.

Lol oh yeah I forgot about crying on psychedelics. I cried during this song a few months back on a few good doses of acid. It gets pretty intense towards the end.

And this one

Dude I have 3 cockatiels right now. Used to have 4, RIP Chiquita

They are such tiny little people. Each with their own unique personalities and attitudes. They're amazing.

My male bird, Pepito, can be kind of an ass sometimes. I think it has a lot to do with just primal animal dominance shit, and it comes in phases. Probably has to do with hormones.

But he's also such a nice guy when he wants to be. He used to be able to whistle the tune to the Addams Family, but he has lost the melody over the years and now it's more of a unique song all his own.
