Stoned Yoga
    #14481410 - 05/19/11 10:09 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Why hasn't anyone produced a stoned yoga video? I'm really high right now, and I'd like to listen to some good music while I stretch and look at pretty girls. Someone should jump on that idea.

All yoga videos are stoned yoga videos if you watch them when you're stoned. Great way to watch them.

Zumba stoned is fun too. The black light zumba is hands down the best way to work out stoned.

Nonsense, I don't buy the myth that pot makes you lazy. I get high only to start cleaning my house, and planning out what I'm going to be doing for the next few weeks to work towards meeting goals.

It's no myth, weed generally potentiates laziness..I have observed this in myself, and others.

Maybe it doesn't make you lazy, but this doesn't mean that pot making people lazy is a myth.

Yeah when I wasn't such a lazy piece of shit, I used to smoke a bowl before the gym and go run and lift.  Since it raises your heart rate it seemed to help me ease into the lifting and running a lot faster than a warmup did...  Maybe it was just me, but weed makes for an excellent workout session.

I don't think so. Everyone I know that acts like a lazy fuck when they're stoned, is just a lazy when sober too, though less comically so. I think weed just makes what ever underlying qualities are there more intense.

Yes, that's enough to not make it a myth.

I live in California, in the Bay Area, where you can turn your head towards any direction and find a pothead..so yeah, my position on this matter is based on a pretty huge sample set.

Yeah, it's all about motivation/willpower..I enjoy lazing out on weed, but I also like doing things like riding my bike.

I've seen a few "energetic" people turn completely silent after a blunt of real weed in my day. :oldman:

^this.  Nothing like being crazy high on a treadmill in a gym full of bouncy chested wimmenz...  Only to finish the workout, smoke a bowl on the way home, and cook up a nice chicken caesar salad with the works, shower, smoke again, and go to bed completely satisfied.  It's 100% possible to be a healthy, productive stoner.

Why not? If I gave an equal amount of people a double-shot of espresso, and recorded their reactions, would it be unsafe for me to assume that humans generally behave more energetically while on caffeine?

Why is weed any different?

Ah, so observing people consume caffeinated beverages is somehow more of an organized study than observing people getting stoned.

The the exact same amount of people that I've observed getting stoned..you know, because we're comparing my observations to my hypothetical caffeine project.

I'm really not sure where the difficulty is here, or why you think my somewhat informed assumption that human beings generally become lazy as a result of smoking pot is unwarranted.

What is illogical about it? Need I cite studies which prove that weed can make people tired/lazy? :what:

I've seen hundreds of stoners..this is getting ridiculous, my speculation regarding how weed generally affects people is not unfounded in the least. You still haven't told me what the difference between my observations of caffeine-drinkers and my observation of pot-smokers is..apparently, in your mind, making logical deductions regarding how caffeine affects behavior based on observations is somehow less bold than making logical deductions regarding how weed affects behavior.

I guess people generally smoke cigarettes.

No, but they definitely generally experience a distinct buzz when they do.

Are we going to compare every single drug to weed now, or do you get it yet?

Uh huh, so if I observe a raincloud looming over the hills travelling towards my direction, I can't conclude shit about whether or not it might rain soon?

A lot of people also say they DON'T get lazy.
So does that mean that it also generally doesn't make you lazy?

So? Even sativas can induce a state of lazy relaxation.

No, I can't imagine why it would.

Most trip reports describe a more relaxed, lazy state..I'm basing my assumption on various things, my position is not so weak that I need to resort to a strawman, which is basically all you've been doing throughout this conversation..

Man if you talked to people that work in pot clubs about this, they'd be laughing their asses off.

It was a rather concrete statement.

You even italicized "does"

Based on rather concrete evidence..go ahead, type in "Why does weed make me tired?" on the Google search bar. You'll find that a great deal of people consider weed to be more of a relaxant than an upper.
