I just found some melatonin pills and was wondering if anyone had tried them with lsa/lsh. Does it make the trip more "extra dimensional" or does it just put you to sleep?

Melatonin is a tryptamine but it has no physcedelic effects. Trust me to I've taken over 15mg of it at times all it does is make you sleepy if you are in a dark room.
Weed plus lsa is so much better bro

Some melatonin converts into pinoline, which is a natural endogenous MAOI, so increasing your melatonin would increase your pinoline, which would act as an MAOI and increase the duration (and possibly intensity) of the trip.
Edit: On second thought, though, pinoline might also just increase your natural serotonin, which might compete with lsa/lsh for receptor sites, so I don't know...actually, I would be careful about taking too much melatonin, because if it converts over into too much pinoline, I guess it could cause serotonin syndrome. I do notice that, if I take melatonin regularly for about a week, my stomach starts to get a little chronically clenched or jumpy...not quite to the extent where I feel like I'm nauseous, but just enough actually to dissuade me from eating unless I'm really hungry. So the converted pinoline definitely affects serotonin levels peripherally too, not just in the brain. Of course, to get true serotonin syndrome, you'd have to take a lot more than the 1-2 mg of melatonin I take some nights. I wouldn't take more than 10 mg at first, unless you are familiar with the effects of that dosage of melatonin. In general, melatonin is a very gentle chemical, but I wouldn't rule out adverse effects at, say, the 100 mg range.
What I'm really curious about is whether melatonin plus some stimulant like adrafinil or meth would be crazy. My guess is, yes, because melatonin would try to put you to sleep and make you dream, but the stimulant would keep you awake, and some of the melatonin would convert into pinoline, acting as an MAOI and increasing the dopamine effect of the stimulant, making for some sort of (possibly dangerous) super-speedy surreal experience.

lysergic acid hydroxyethylamide would be interesting to try, if nothing else just to say that you've done it

I once mixed a little melatonin in with some 2c-i for two of my friends. It's tough to say if there was any synergy or not but one thing that was noticed was that it took approximately 3-4 hours to kick in instead of the usual hour come up. My friend called me up complaining that the doses were bunk. I wake up the next day and notice I have a voice mail from the same friend telling me he's trippin face. Something with the Melatonin must have made it take longer to kick in...maybe competition with receptor sites?
