Why does this keep happening to my MJ seedlings (UPDATE W/PICS)

Got some lowryder II seeds.
This is the second time this has happened. When the seed germinates and shows a 1/3" root. I plant it root straight down 3/4" deep in to the soil. The next day part of the root and the seed are both visible at the surface.
Drew a little Mspaint picture to show what I mean.

Should I dig it up and replant it? I just covered the root part with more soil.
UPDATE: 06/6/11 So here she is a little over 2 weeks old

Do you have an animal in the house?

Your seeds root is trying to burrow by growing from the tip, and in doing so, its pushing the seed body around. Sometimes this causes the whole works to go off-axis due to the torque involved, in your case, seedling turning upside down. Once the root feels sunlight, its turns back and goes down into the earth.
They are maneuvering themselves into ideal position. just sit, watch, and enjoy nature's technology.

Don't worry about a thing buddy. They'll be seedlings before you know it. I never had them do that but i wouldn't worry about it.

WTF?!?!?! that's 2 weeks???? Do you have any of those nutrients in human grade? That sucker is like the incredible Hulk!
What kinda lights do you have on it and what is the feeding schedule? My buddy's seedling is like 3 weeks old and she's just putting on her second set of true leaves, in fact it's identical to this one on this thread.Growth comparison
He's been using it as a guide for his progress.

I'm using 96w t5 6500K lights up top and 3 23w 2700K cfl's on the sides. I started with Ocean Forest soil with some bat guano mixed(2tbls. per 3 gallons). I've only fed it once with a tiny bit of FoxFarm Grow Big (3 drops per gallon).
Yea this is a fast grower...I'm pretty amazed myself.

Crazy! He's got 2- 23w 6500k within 6" angled from above. Maybe he needs more light.
Have you grown before? He's been reading stuff online, but there's so much info. He doesn't have any idea about where the flowers grow, and all that stuffs.

I've grown one other plant a few months back, and it turned out to be a male.
One other thing I forgot to mention is, I have a fan blowing between the top light and the top of the plant. This really helped thicken the stem up, and probably why it's growing bushy.

I'll let him know for sure! I think he's planning on building a cabinet to keep it in, but will more than likely just grow it in a room with multiple CFLs and fans.
Best of luck on that plant, and it looks awesome! What grow parameters do you have in store once it gets bigger? And how do you sex them? Is it less than 7 is female, or do you have to do the flowering thing?
