Habitat: found on a lawn in NH. been rain on and off for 1 week. Growing in a cluster Gills:they are dark brown attached to the stem nearest the end towards the cap. Stem: about 2 inches, hollow, fiberous, they go verticle with very slight twist to some. Cap: 1 inch or so around ( i got them young so they were not fully mature)caramel with darkening towards edges. conical in shape. there were some smaller ones that barely were opening up from stem and it looked, i guess fuzzyish as it opened...
Spore print color: it looks black
Bruising:did not notice any distinct blueing,... but it stained the paper blueish.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but I assumed the liquid on the gills in the last picture was where they were weeping.

& the reason I said Velutina is because it is the mushroom I am more experienced with. See them all the time on my hunts in lawns as such

"Psathyrella velutina is a former name. Psathyrella/Lacrymaria lacrymabunda is seen as a synonym by some authors, but is separated by others on the basis of its smoother spores. A recent molecular study (Padamsee and collaborators, 2008) found specimens labeled "Lacrymaria velutina" to be genetically separated, suggesting that species concepts in Lacrymaria may need to be modified." http://www.mushroomexpert.com/lacrymaria_velutina.html
For now the accepted name is Lacrymaria lacrymabunda
