Hi Guys,
Went for a hunt to a few new spots sunday - didn't find any gold 'n' blue in any of them, but sussed out some nice habitat. All seemed just a wee bit dry though.
Some shots I took that day:

And some more pics:Anyone know the species of the 1st and 3rd shots?

I'm pretty sure that's not fungus in the 2nd shot - I reckon they're some sort of woolly kangaroo

I'm looking forward to some good decent rain to wet up the place for a few days.

Good luck on your adventures guys.

:cool:Spider!
The pics you are wondering about:#1 is a Coral fungus of some sort.A close up would help but it could be Clavicorona pyxidata.#3 is Hypholoma, possibly H.fasciculare.

Nice, you got some pretty big ones there, if allowed to develop those caps in the top right would get huge!

Very nice natural habitat

Very nice. Pretty damn jealous. Hoping the forecast is correct for the next few days - really looking forward to it. Everyone seems to be getting decent amounts up here in the hills, I want in on it :P

Well done guys!

You fellas are having awesome hauls, compared with what I've been finding anyway.

Way to go finding the right spots!

I can't wait for the big hauls either  My time will come.

Have sussed out a few of the spots I found to be very fruitful last year, on a few occasions, and none appear to have anything popping up as yet :frown:

Keen to try out some new spots - anyone who is keen for a hunt soon, let me know!

Iron man / Trixxy / Ummagumma, pm me if any of you are free at any point this weekend or early next week

Congrats on all the early hauls guys ... Amazing <3

Well I found him, far from lost though haha, maybe lost in the head, but definitely not geographically...Found him in his backyard laying by a massive bonfire smoking a joint just relaxing & looking at the stars.

Had a smoke and a laugh and remembered he told me about finding some fungi, me thinking he was out in the wilderness i thought he was just seeing inactives, he then comes up to me with a big bag full of freshly picked shrooms lol what a champ, showed me his patch turns out it's in his back yard the lucky SOB lol :crazy2:

Heres todays fruits lol

On the walk home I went and looked at my old patch, it's very dry at the moment, I'm finding a decent amount still but definitely too dry, may have to say a few prayers to the rain gods, stack my three rocks and do a dance.

Peace

Went for a hunt in a new spot today with some friends, got my first subs for the season, about 50 total. Some seemed a bit dry and small but still left all the pins for next time
Also saw another friend out hunting while we were there, was a pretty cool day.

I think that this season will be pretty good considering the early start and cold evenings we've had. I think I'll head out this weekend or early next week and then upload some photos!!

Happy hunting all.
