My equipment so far (Aussies take a look)
    #14365002 - 04/28/11 02:34 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

As promised guys i said i would update you on my exciting new hobby i will also list where i bought the items from ( finding stuff in aus can be quite a task)

My GB box was made using todlow's GB tek
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/13552603
The PVC piping and silicon was bought at my local hardware store along with the poly suit which i have yet to cut the arms of and attach to the GB , if you can't find these materials try Bunnings. The clear storage container was bought at my local target , they seemed to have quite a large variety unlike Kmart who only sold frosted totes.

My 23 quart presto pressure cooker with rack bought of Amazon and shipped for round $110 AUD better than most asked prices for PC's in AUS

10ML syringes can be found at any local chemist though only some chemists sell the actual needle,Your best bet is your local vet if this  is the case (just say your carrying out a study and growing mold on different substrates if they ask you why you want it,always works for me). The needles i have are 21 gauge which is good for spore syringes though might not work with GLC or LC due to the needle being to skinny for the mycelium to fit through. But i have herd a couple posters saying they have been successful with a 21gauge needle so give it a try. Cambodian and b+ prints were obtained online.

Lastly are the canning jars which i found quite hard to obtain. They are found in most homemaker and kitchenware stores just ask the worker you wish to make some jam and there should be a small section for canning jars. also pic is not mine my cam ran out of battery :frown:

thanks for looking guys , i made this mostly because Im excited to get started but i also hoped i gave some help to fellow Aussies on where to obtain materials

Are you following the PF-Tek ?

I've read that you need to use wide mouthed jars or else the cake won't come out.
