ID request & mycelium patches (PICS)

Found these large patches of mycelium in my yard. They are around an old stump and some of the patches are pretty big. The mushrooms in the pics are not growing out of the patches but all around the vicinity. Just curious if these patches are pretty common and what type of mushrooms these might be....thanks for looking!





Habitat:
Rural town in North Alabama

Gills:
Dark colored

Stem:
White, hollow, fairly fragile, between 1 - 3 inches in length

Cap:
Cone shaped, medium Dar brown

Bruising:
No apparent bruising

it's a coprinoid, probably coprinellus micaceus or very similar. It's probably the most commonly posted mushroom on this board, at least this time of year.
