Need some suggestions here shroomery, I'm tryin to find a good RPG to play for either SNES or Sega. I never got into RPG's until the PS1 era so its alot of fun to go back and play these. So far I've played chrono trigger, 7th saga, shining force 1 and 2, and of course all of the final fantasys. I just tried downloading some fire emblem games but none that I found were ever translated into english, so thats a no go for me.

You listed all the ones I was going to say besides Secret of Mana, which I'm sure you've played.

Final Fantasy 4/5/6, Secret of Mana, Tactics Ogre, Breath of Fire 1/2
That's off the top of my head. I know there's a ton for SNES though.

Unfortunately super mario rpg is protected by the ESA so finding it is looking to be very difficult, I actually tried getting it before I made this thread. I'll look for some secret of mana though, can never go wrong with squaresoft

Tactics Ogre is looking from what I saw on youtube. I was a very big fan of FF Tactics and Tactics Ogre is looking like it was a huge inspiration to FFT. Gonna have to give this one a shot too, thanks man

Yeah. I didn't play many RPGs at that age, but Chrono Trigger has got to be in the top 5 SNES RPGs for sure.

Yeah Chrono Trigger was the shit. They did the whole time traveling thing very well, plus the amount of different endings you could get was ridiculous.

I am currently playing "Illusion of Gaia" for the SNES.
It's pretty cool.

What the hell are you talking about. You can't download it like you can download every other SNES game?
Also, Chrono Trigger has a cool storyline but it's mad easy. It was made as a very simple RPG. It's like one of the easiest RPGs ever.

No, you can't. Not with the rom site I use anyway, some of the more popular well known games are listed on the site but when you try to download them it says that the game is protected by the ESA and you may not download it. I'm not sure if theres any rules in the pub about linking sites like that so i won't, but if you would like i could send you a pm with the link so you can see what I'm talking about. Most games you can get a rom of easy, but good luck getting any mario game or more popular stuff like that. I'm sure you could torrent it if you really wanted, but I don't really get down with torrents

I have them all on catridge with the exception to RPG, which I already played through and beat at a friends house years ago, so I'm really not too concerned about it. I'm looking for some lesser known rarer titles anyway.
