broccoli seeds and enough ramens to last you until they fully sprout. 1 table spoon of seeds is enough to produce about a quart jar full of sprouts. and im going to guess a person can live off a quart of sprouts a day. The only problem is it takes like 5 days or so to fully sprout so you might be dead by then but its worth a shot

For the most sustaining and best protein/carb ratio on low cash, lentils are probably your best bet.
2$ for a bag of goya lentils at any market.

i realize replying now is pointless, but for future reference, i'd go to kroger or some place with the bulk bag-it-yourself foods. the one near me has everything from quinoa to rice to granola and every kind of dried fruit you can think of.
i usually get a pound of pine nuts and use the code for sunflower seeds so that it costs $2. regularly, pine nuts are $25/lb!!! dried cherries are another good one to rip off...$9.99 per pound? use the cranberry code and those cherries are 1.99

I found boxes of pasta on sale for $0.50 apiece. Giant jars of sauce were also on sale that day and I've been eating dinner for nearly 3 weeks on $6 worth of food.
-------------------- Did he dream about dragons? Did he dream about deer? Did he whisper he names of friends who were near? What songs did they play, and how far away? Why did he whisper, why did she scream? What does the sound of a screen door mean? Who talks on the hill? Who goes to the cellar, can you feel the chill? Where does the river, when will the wind? How far are the mountains? Where do they end? Why would the church? Did the service begin? Tell me who died, and tell me who cried. Help me hide in the skin of a deer, my zippered-up bag in the mouth of a stag so swiftly I go through rows of does, it flows, it flows, it flows, it flows all over the hill where the green grass grows.
