Trippin' Food

All right peeps, just got back from a fantastic day spent way out in the wilderness (saw bear and bobcat shit everywhere). Ate a small dose of fungus with my bro and had an extremely mild (too mild, in fact) trip. But it's all good.
I brought along some trusty "trip food".
For me it's hard boiled eggs, raisins mixed with walnuts, and an apple. I also have a drink i'm going to start bringing along. I cut up some ginger root last night, boiled it for ten minutes in a pot then added honey and let it chill overnight.
Iced ginger and honey tea is the shit when you're trippin' (it's good when you're sober too). also helps to keep the stomach calm.
any other shroomers have food they take with boomers?

The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

One time on acid 2 friends and I each devoured a 2 foot long cheesesteak and cheese fries. It was nothing short of primal.

^ How'd you feel afterwards? Depending on hunger leve it could go either way.
Simple simple simple is best when you're tripping. Fruits and yogurt, nuts, water, baked/steamed fish, plain white rice (maybe a little pinch of butter), etc.
Very plain, very simple foods work best imo.

doesn't exactly count as food, but back in high school I was tripping at a friends house and found a set of oversized mugs where each mug had images of a certain vegetable and the name of the vegetable written across the side e.g. "TOMATOES". I found the "MUSHROOMS" one, filled it up with ice and water, and ate the ice with a spoon as if it were cereal and the water were milk.

i don't eat on higher doses. but on the lower ones i definitely get hungry (especially when hiking around in the forest).

Well you know how acid makes your stomach feel all tight? We felt full, but not bloated. I don't recall how the rest of the trip was but I know it wasn't bad. We have running jokes about the things we said before we ordered. When we started discussing food our one friend sat up from a total ego death and said out of nowhere, "CHEESE STEAK.......PIZZA??!!"

Chex-mix and the life source (water). Tea is always a winner as well though.

i love fruit when i'm trippin. apples, oranges and grapes are my favorite.
i also like eating a big steak or cut of grilled meat with nothing but my hands and a butcher knife.
