Well wanted to thank every one here from way back when in the days that tought me what I know today. Since I left I havnt pulled a decent harvest but im hoping thats all about to change again. A few years back I dedicated a whole room to cultivation but that ended up in failure, kinda make you or break you type of thing that ended up breaking me. Now im working with a 27qt Pressure cooker, got my self 2400ml of liquid culture of B+ 24 pint jars 12 quart jars and ready to get back into action. Jumped back in feet first and since im a bit rust been making a coupple mistakes along the way. So far what I got going on is 9 pints in 9 ziplok sandwitch tupperwares in a large storage bin with some perlite that I mist and fan daily. I broke the WBS up and put a 1/4in coir/verm mix ontop of that.the temp in the box probably stays between 75 and 82. I didnt spawn or allow it to recolonize just threw it stright in the FC. Couldnt help but notice that this site seems kinda dead so ive been lurking on a few other sites but still remain loyal to the people that gave me my start. Peace.

Welcome back...
You're right, this site isn't quite as active as it used to be. I wouldn't call it 'dead,' but it seemed like there were a lot more regulars lurking mushcult back in the day.
Your setup sounds okay, aside from the ziplock bags - what are they used for? If you haven't done much searching in awhile, look up SGFC (shotgun fruiting chamber) by RogerRabbit. If you use that method, there's pretty much no way you can lose.

Yeah I got 17 WBS pints showing some life right now. Really interested in starting up some rez`s. Super simple, great results. Just got my turntables back and exited to throw a camping "trip". Whats every ones opinion on best bulk ( best results for least effort and space )

just put that verm with the coir and dont case it with anything.
straight coir/verm rawks.
spice it up with manure and gypsum if you want your mushrooms to fucking love you

And I would do it at a 1:3 spawn substrate ratio also. 1:1 isn't much of a bulk but you can do it like that if you'd like

Yes sir that's generally how it works. But id wait ten days for it to colonize. Maybe check after about 5 or 6 six days to make sure but generally 10 days until full colonization. That with a 1:3 ratio anyways. If you use a 1:1 ratio then of course it will be faster. Good luck.

yup yup!
thats the dealio nowadays.
search for damion5050's coir tek.
you can add gypsum to that tek with no problems.
but if adding manure you will probably need to pasteurize it properly.

Looking to keep it as simple as possible. I live in a spot where mold can be a serious issue so if I cut down the odds of bad bad evil nasty mold the better.
