Yes/no, the actual number is just one component of that part of your life.

2.2 ... messed up my first year and a half of college. Went back a few years later and got all A's but the former years of fail still made it hard to raise, which sucks. Also tried transferring all A's from 2 semesters from another university - only 1 class was accepted Oh well, still time to raise it I guess. Only multiple thousands of dollars and precious years wasted, but shit happens for a reason right? - lesson learned.

Difference between 2.2 and 3.5 is less important than the difference between 3.5 and 4.0. IOW, you're fine. Pass, graduate, it's all good.

In High SChool I had like a 1.8-2.2
I never really gave a fuck about anything..
if I did it again I'm sure I could get a 3.8-4+
I plan on going to college soon and think I'd do quite well.

When I was in HS I actually had 0.something GPAs, lol.
I went back after dropping out and got all 4.0s. In my younger days I just never went cause I was bored with it. I could get upper 3 to 4 college gpa, with ease. Just haven't gone with it yet. I know it's easier said than done, but I just have a thing with school. If I'm there, I have to get everything right. I studied plenty of college level material. I used to finish home courses in a couple days time.
