    #14469102 - 05/17/11 05:50 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I'm curious if to see if anyone can help ID this mushroom.

I've never hunted wild mushrooms before so I apologize in advance for not getting all the required information for IDs. I tried to remember as much as i could.

Habitat:
Found this growing on a dead hardwood tree stump at the edge of the woods where my wife works.

Gills:
Color is white.
Stem:
the stem was short and thick.
Cap:
between 2 and 6 inches in diameter.
Spore print color! didnt take a print.

Bruising:didnt notice any bruising.

They are a little past their prime and you should wait for a T.I. to confirm if your thinking about eating them.
