    #14468390 - 05/17/11 03:13 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

i simmerd my WBS for about 15 min and now its drying on a towel. i realized that the grains are not soft when i try to break it apart its actually hard. should i throw it back in the pot and simmer again. its swelled up a bit but not that much. their was also no starch after the simmer.

Wbs should never be soft. I always prepare it like that, it stays hard, but works perfectly!

I don't simmer at all. I soak and cook it once. Why cook it twice if u don't have to?
