Gas exchange mistake. Can i recover?

Ok, so this isn't my first time growing, ive had great success in the past but i have a fringe question that i never really considered before. I do large sterilized verm/brf cakes in those medium sized handi-foil banana bread pans covered real good with foil and the injection points are taped with breathable medical tape just like i've always done. I ground my own brf, and i have my V/brf/water ratios down BUT... In an ignorant attemt to prevent any contamination during colonization my dumb ass put my pans in zip lock bags thinking "they dont really need that much air". stupid. So a bunch of them have been incubating for about 30 days and i'm realizing that they're not working right because of no gas exchange. I opened up a few and theres no contamination inside but it seems like most of them never started spawning. QUESTION: I opened up the bags, do you think the spores are done or do you think they will now begin to get back to business now that they're getting air? thanks ya'll.

it's possible they'll start to grow, but i'm sure only time will tell if there was any damage...

Just in case someone reads this, i ended up with almost exactly a 20% success rate on that, which was bad considering how much i had made up. moral of the story was make sure i put AC in the window to keep the temp. down in the summer and the small 8x7 room has a HEPA tower with the UVC light. Cleaner room, correct temperatures etc. i wouldnt have thought to suffocate my work if i had thought to keep the air cleaner. i think the best thing you can do if you want this shit to work out is spend money on the right tools, if not, it's not going to pop off the way you want. --- since my last failure, i've had a 100% success rate in substrate colonization in the same room with AC and a HEPA. Also finding out that you DONT have to keep your colonizing substrate in the dark 24/7 was refreshing and made everything easier. in my case i was even worried about the pinhole injection points covered with tape because i've had shrooms start coming out of those before, now i just realize it's because they were done eating......read read read.
