I recently visited a Mushroom Farm and learned alot. They grow Oyster mushrooms , Shiitake, and Lionsmane. Here are a few pics to start with.

Here is the door to the Autoclave.
Had outdoor log and indoor block shiitake.

And here is the colonizing area for the Shiitake 700 bags per self.

Thanks for letting us in on the tour! Looks like they cut "x"s in their Lions Mane bags, even before it consolidates completely, like you would an oyster. I just started my first Lions Mane, so that info will come in handy. Nice photos and impressive farm.

I'll bet they regret using wood shelves in the grow room very soon. In fact, I'm surprised it's not green already. It also looks like he either needs a new shiitake strain or help with shiitake pinning triggers. It would be hard to make any money with such few fruits on each block.
I'd like that autoclave though. . .
Where was this? It almost looks like it could be my back yard. RR

This was in Wooster, Ohio. Also they just picked them before we got in that room. But I can agree with the wood being a bad idea. But amazingly he has been doing this for 20 years. He was an engineer before so he likes to rebuild things I think. By the way that Autoclave is 20 ft long (impressive) got it for 13,000 he said.

Thats awesome. Those blocks do look like they have recently been picked. Also, is that wood cedar?
