i didn't even notice it till now but Anthony has a photo of the Puget Sound with Seattle on the shoreline. Dude knows exactly what i'm talking about.
duuuuude!! you feel my pain
it's FINALLY getting nice around here though...we're supposed to have like 4 sunny days in a row!! I hate it...but honestly there is no place more beautiful during the summer than Seattle.
seriously. summers in the PNW are mind blowing i've lived in three PNW cities (Seattle, Bellingham and Vancouver) and all have the most epic summers. But even 5 summers of bliss couldn't outweigh the five winters of shit.
i noticed folks in the PNW drink a lot to cope with the blues (which is an obvious oxymoron seeing as how alcohol is a depressant).
do you take vitamin D supplements? i started taking them while living there and it helped improve my mood a good bit.

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

Me. If I wake up, and it's grey out (especially with clouds, like today)...God it makes me really, really happy. I hate sunshine. It's okay sometimes but it really does depress me. Rolling grey clouds and storms are so much cooler, relax me, and I love being able to drive without the glare of the sun. Today I was so happy when I looked outside but there were still gaps where the sun was poking through the clouds most of the day so *meh*...
