Habitat: Found these at my uni in a mixture of wood mulch, soil and dead leaves, unsure of what kind of wood chips though.
Gills: Attached, light brown to darker brown in older specimens.
Stem: 4-8cm in Length, approx 0.4cm in diameter, whitish brown in colour, breaks easily , is hollow, and quite thin.
Cap: all around 2cm in diameter , caramel brown in colour, turning light pale brown when bruised or left out for a while. Quite slimy when wet, is spherical and convex in shape.
Spore print color: unsure of specific colour, looks dark purplish, but could be blackish blue
Bruising: minimal bruising- orange brown
Smell: has that common "mushroom scent"

the spore print leads me to believe that it could be a Psilicybe, but the bruising tells me otherwise....help!

No, it's not a psilocybe, although I can see why one could mistake it for a species in that genus. Still, it looks to me like a psathyrella species.

The lanky, fibrous but brittle stems combined with the shape of the cap and the habitat. I'm not 100% sure if it's in the psathyrella genus btw; it could e.g. also be a conocybe species. Perhaps that's even more likely, as the caps don't seem particularly hygrophanous.
