Contributing to society
    #14450663 - 05/14/11 11:20 AM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Do you think its important to contribute to society?

It can be a tough question because on one hand we've all been fucked by society but on the other we've also benefited in other ways, through art, music, health, electronics, movies, whatever the fuck you can think of, but in most cases there is probably money involved though more often than not.

      Maybe the key is to contribute in such a way that it also can support your own lifestyle down the road.

I do believe it is important to contribute to your community. If there was no contributing there would be no community. In my opinion the best way to commute to any community is through meditation. Think with power <3

Contribute by using your power to shape society into something you deem more beautiful.

There will always be society and you will always be a part of it, even if you're living alone on a mountain somewhere.

Wait if your alone on a mountain for you there is no society. Your alone on a mountain. Society is fucked honestly but why not try to make it better while you still care to or can is up to you. You can always make it worse if you want to as well.

it feels like a waste contributing to society because most people just take, and dont give back. however i still do when i can, hoping that one day, in some way, it will help make a difference..

nothing is appreciated, and rewards seldom ever come....but to have tried is more important than the result IMO.

I think it is, like everything, a balance of cultivating your individual life with the concern for its place within a greater circle.

Well honestly there is a mindset where you don't care if you get back what you give and that helps you go farther personally speaking. Its always better sometimes to try then to never have. Or just become a super villain either way things are nice.

it's a great mindset to be in <3 Positive actions have positive responses! keep giving and keep loving yourself! Every bit counts even if it's just picking up trash. it's not the amount of help it's the amount of love and good intent behind help. We are all benevolent beings and we're here to take care of our planet! Keep up the great work everyone ^>^ it's all appreciated <3
