I wouldn't really agree with this though, as i don't see your brain as a "soul". I think the "soul" itself goes deeper than that

some argue that the being as a whole is actually the soul in a solid, physical form, therefore when the brain or system of the body that reacts to the senses is triggered, the soul, being the all encompassing energy that is the make up of you, is actually what creates our perception. experiences, life lessons, memories, feelings all of it are all connected to the mind-body-spirit relationship. there is no one without the other. i dont want off rude, but i feel thats the way it came out im sorry

That quote is anything but good.
-------------------- Well I try my best to be just like I am, but everybody wants you to be just like them. -- Bob Dylan fireworks_god said:It's one thing to simply enjoy a style of life that one enjoys, but it's another thing altogether to refer to another person's choice as "wrong" or to rationalize their behavior as being pathological or resulting from some sort of inadequacy or failing so as to create a sense of superiority or separation as yet another projection of a personal fear or control issue.

I really don't understand what it means. What is "the perception"?

I'm assuming that it's referring to perception in general.

'perspective is the knowledge one has by experience through the senses'. I don't think the soul has a perspective, I think it just is and is aware of other things as just that. No filters or prejudices but that's just my opinion.

Why do you think souls even exist?

The answer to that question would be lost in the translation to words.

It's very unfortunate to have to insult others to have said something. A concept as infinite as the Spirit is beyond the comprehension of words. It is beyond the limits of science which I see you have found so much from. I wish you the best brother. May you find what you need in your areas of knowledge.
Love.

If you don't want to have your beliefs questioned, why are you in a debate oriented forum? I suggest the Spirituality & Mysticism forum.

That was a personalism, not questioning. People the mod agrees with can do personalisms, others can't.

I never said what I do or don't believe. Out of your own ignorance you felt the need to insult me. You never asked me a question. I answered the one I was asked with honesty. I am incapable of producing words that even come close to why the Soul exists.

You know, I'm pretty passed that point where I will start to rethink if conventional science has it all right. Experience has far more to say than the lack of it.
You have shut out all you are incapable of fitting into that small, small, finite measurement of your materialistic science. Assuming all that is, is simply all that can be measured. One day you will know brother. One day, you will feel that unconditional Love from all things. I wish the best for you. It is obvious now that this section of the forums is not ready to open up to the unprejudiced aspect of life.
