Haven't watched it all but it looks interesting.
That said I almost have a college degree. I think it can't hurt to have one in the long run.

You're right it definitely won't hurt in the long run but you might of wasted the time you spent getting it and that run is almost over.

But in all seriousness, I thought the video was quite educational in a certain aspect. I do not agree that college is a waste of time. There are ways around debt, such as grants for undergraduate degrees (only available to those with parents who have low income, and if your parents have high income, I hope they help you pay for some of it).
Getting an education doesn't necessarily "brainwash" you or is a waste of time, like that goon spitting all over the camera in that church or whever he was ranting. College is great for the mind, teaches you how to learn, expands your knowledge on many subjects and cultures, which is a plus when becoming a person and getting a job.
As for the "BUY GOLD AND SILVER". Really? Not sure what to think about that. Anyone know economy well? I don't...

True. Well, I've questioned this before, but what type of careers is one supposed to look for to make money if they skip the whole college system? Not that you need a degree, mine's actually pretty open ended but i wonder if good jobs would just hire people for coming off as intelligent/street smart without any degree/qualifications. Obviously some thing such as do it yourself projects/art can all be done without any sort of schooling but it can take a lot of luck and risk.

Good documentary. Im one school quarter away from being done with a BS in psychology. The dept sure is going to suck, especially considering how i have come to hate my major. I feel like this experience was especially worthless in terms of any useful education.

Thats definitely true at least to an extent. My main problem has been bad advice by everyone around me back when i had to decide what to do after high school, at which point i had no idea what i wanted to do yet, but the pressure to go to college was there from family. So picked psychology because it seemed interesting with lots of potentially different jobs that it could be applied to. I want nothing to do with it once i graduate. The better idea would have been some sort of art or trade based direction, the information from which could be much more directly applied to acquiring a job in that field. Doing theater and knowing about lighting for example might help get a job in lighting on movie sets or clubs or something. My education has been totally worthless tho. Primary use i can think of for it at the moment is having the experience to contribute to a potential book on why psychology needs to get a major revamp. Writing is hardly a breadmaker tho.

Yeah psychology is pretty worthless degree since it can be applied to almost any job. A lot of people with psychology degrees told me don't do it its a waste of time. Personally i want a degree in some form of chemistry or physics. But ill probably study hard while trying to run some form of business while in college to earn my money back. or just go kill somebody and turn psychotic.
