Yard find ID Please

Habitat: Yard in Southern VA, After a few days of rain. Recently fertilized yard.
Spore print color: Coal Black
Bruising: Bruises a dark brown

if the spore print is JET BLACK and not just COAL BLACK then you got Panaolus cinctulus.
they realllllyyyy look like cinc s to me

I would guess there are about 500 out there, I have to be careful because there are other species in the yard too. I will most likely print them all, the other ones Lacrameria I believe give a gold/orange print. Only way I know to pick them apart so young. I am learning though.
And the mana fell from heaven and it was good.

Lacrymaria gives a dark purple/black print. Conocybes give rusty orange prints.

Agreed. You can see the brown where the print has smeared. Very good eye Byrain. I was thinking subbs at first.

There is no difference between jet and coal black to my eye. However, there is a difference between jet/coal black and dark/purple brown.

That was a mistake on my part I was thinking about one I printed the other day( in a previous post of mine). And of course my noobness. Thanks for all the help guys, this stuff is fascinating to me.

Another thing, I was using a paper plate and I think it absorbed some of the moisture and may have dissipated some of the color. I just bought foam plates hoping I won't have that problem in the future.

Aluminum foil OR even better transparency film like what they use for overhead projectors at schools.
