If your planning on growing Cubes, they are a tropical strain as for growing in your shed you don't want temps that can hit 100.Read more on the growth perimiters of the strain your looking to cultivate

Should I just make BRF and verm jars? I will have to steam sterilize and hopefully I at least get 1 or 2 non-contaminated jars out of it.
having them in your shed is just as bad legality wise

If it hits 100 degrees outside it's gonna be higher than that in your shed. You won't be any safer with them in your shed than in your house either, just like you won't be safer growing them outdoors than in.

If it gets to 100 in the shed your better off not wasting your time and money,it really doesn't sound like satisfactory conditions

I used to live in Washington and I think it will get too hot. I just loved those days when everybody and their brother turns on the A/C and blows out power grids.
I would wait a little. Maybe start colonizing at the beginning of August and aim for fruit growing in late August when the HOT temps are gone.
If the temps are a little on the cool side you can always run a portable heater. I have about a year of growing experience under my belt. I'm just starting to mess with grains. I currently like grinding my cakes into some horse poo. I say don't just think about it... do it. Go for it. It has been a fun and exciting hobby for me. As it will be for you I'm sure.

What is the humidity like, where you are, on those hot summer days? I ask because; you could easily build a cheap evaporative (swamp) cooler for your shed. It would cool the inside down AND boost humidity. Furthermore, you then could setup a simple dual-stage filter system inline with your blower. Ideally, filter your inlet air leading to your evaporative cooler, as oppose to the other way around.
Cheers and good luck! :-)
